Torah Study, Shofar Service, & Potluck Picnic Lunch

Have you ever felt that the Birthday of the World should be celebrated in a beautiful natural setting? Have you really wanted to celebrate the Second Day of Rosh Hashana but would rather not sit inside for another morning?  Do you love the way a shofar blast rises to the heavens when there is no roof overhead?  Are there children in your life who might feel this way?  If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, Or Zarua Havurah has just the event for you!

This event is free, family friendly, and open to the public.  Further details:

10:00 am:  Study and discussion of the Akaida: led by Rabbi Shifrah Tobacman.
11:00 am: Outdoor Shofar Service, led by Josh Wirtschafter.
12:00 noon:  Potluck picnic.   Please bring veggie/dairy/kosher fish dishes to share.  Compostable plates & forks will be provided.  Bring your own water bottles.
